BMC "Flocfil" is used to purify wastewater from petroleum products, oils, suspended solids and colloidal organic substances using flocculation, biocoagulation, flotation and biofiltration methods.
Thickness of BMC "Flockfil" from 1 to 7 m3/hour.
The “Flockfil” installation consists of the following block modules:
Wastewater enters the flocculation chamber of the flotation tank, into which a solution of flocculant (coagulant, excess sludge, etc.) is introduced through a dosing tank. At the same time, compressed air is supplied to the flotation tank.
The introduction of flocculant and compressed air into the flotation tank contributes to the acceleration and high-quality conduct of the flotation process, increasing the capacity and efficiency of the Flokfil flotation plant.
From the flotation unit, the wastewater flows by gravity to the settling unit, where the phase separation process takes place.
From the settling unit, the wastewater flows by gravity to a two-stage biofilter filled with appropriate synthetic or natural granular filter material, which also serves to anchor microorganisms that destroy organic pollutants.
Wastewater, purified from the bulk of contaminants by destructor microorganisms in the first-stage biofilter and filtered from excess biomass in the second-stage biofilter, is discharged by gravity to the treated water tank.
The treated water can be discharged into the city sewer or reused in technological processes for washing cars, escalator parts, etc.
