Czech Roots type rotary blowers from KUBICEK VHS are equipment in which external compression of the gas medium is carried out using two rotors with three teeth (piston rotors). The rotors are installed along horizontal axes in the blower housing and rotate in opposite directions. The movement of the piston rotors causes the gas medium to be sucked in on the suction side of the equipment, the gas to be transported to the delivery point, and its compression. The system is equipped with a synchronizing gear with ground helical gears, which ensures the accuracy and smoothness of the rotor rotation. The gearing simultaneously limits the clearance for contactless rollback of the rotors, which therefore do not need to be lubricated, so the lubricant cannot contaminate the gas medium. This is one of the reasons why Roots type blowers from KUBICEK VHS are used in a very wide range of industries.
Blowers and blower units supplied by KUBICEK VHS are designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible: the compressed working medium does not contain any contaminants or oils; specially designed casings minimize noise levels.

Blower
The blower consists of a housing with a pair of rotors-pistons, two bearings on the sides and two covers with an oil filler, which provides lubrication of the rotor bearings and the synchronizing gear. Penetration of lubricant into the blower housing (the transported medium) is prevented by special dynamic seals. Blowers, as a rule, do not require special cooling - the heat that is generated is removed by the transported medium and, in part, by the surface of the equipment.

Regulation
In rotary blowers, the volumetric flow rate of the suction medium is practically independent of the outlet pressure. Thus, throttling is not permissible. The volumetric flow rate is changed using a multi-pole electric motor or a motor controlled by a frequency converter.
Blower unit
The blower unit consists of a suction silencer with filter, the blower itself, a discharge silencer, a safety or combined start-up and safety valve, a check valve, a flexible discharge pipe insert, an electric motor and a belt drive. The blower sucks air directly from the environment or through a silencer. The unit is mounted on rubber feet.
The blower is driven by an electric motor using V-belts. The units are equipped with standard electric motors with the option of regulation by switching the number of poles or using a frequency converter. For units with a power of up to 2.2 kW, a motor operating on a voltage of 230 V can be used.
